Reedy Modifieds

Reedy has their own version of the GP3300 cells packaged up and ready to go. Promising comparable voltage to and longer run times than the Sanyo and Panasonic 3000 cells, you can't go wrong with 3300s.

On display in the Reedy/Associated booth were the race-winning TC3s of Barry Baker and Juho Levanen.

Who better to talk about Reedy products than Mike Reedy himself? As friendly and informative as ever, Mike is shown here talking to R/C Tech's own mr. losi (Matt) and our good friend Bob S. from Madison.

For more information on Reedy products, visit the Team Associated website at www.teamassociated.com.

Schumacher

The Schumacher Nitro Fusion is a .21-powered monster, capable of 80 MPH speeds out of the box (with the correct gearing). The Nitro Fusion has some incredible features that aren't found in any other RTR car on the market right now, such as a 3-speed transmission, a cordless "e-start" system, and an extra-wide belt (notice it in the second picture) for added durability. Available with multiple body styles, 1/10th scale nitro sedans just don't get any more fun than this.

Schumacher didn't stop with the Nitro Fusion RTR kits; the next evolutionary step was to design a purebred racecar based on the Fusion platform. The result is this Fusion R12 prototype car, packing a race-legal .12 engine and 2-speed transmission. No word yet on when the car will be in stores.

Ever since its introduction, the Schumacher Mission has quietly been gaining a large following in the US. With a rock-solid design, easy maintenence, and one of the best dealer-support programs in the country, Schumacher has made the Mission a no-lose proposition for racers willing to try something new.

In small-scale racing, precision means everything, and gears don't get much more precise than the RW series of spur gears and diff pulleys for the Schumacher Mission. Made of a low-friction, highly durable material, these gears and pulleys are guaranteed down to 1/1000th of an inch.
