Integy

One of the coolest products that we saw at the show was this little tire truer from Integy. With an MSRP of just under US$140, this machine can rotate in both directions, allowing for both precise truing of foam tires and the "scuffing" of rubber tires, extending their useful life considerably. With a dual purpose and a low cost, this tool can find a home in just about any racer's pit box.

These tire warmers, designed for 1/10th scale sedan racing, have a computerized control unit that allows the user to specify separate temperatures for the front and rear tires.

Motor springs are often one of the most overlooked components of an electric motor, and Integy aims to change that with their Motor Spring Dyno. As motors heat up during racing conditions, their springs will gradually lose tension, resulting in a loss of performance over time. Without this tool, replacing motor springs is essentially a shot in the dark, and there is no good way of determining if a pair of springs is matched correctly. Integy's Motor Spring Dyno gives a digital readout of a spring's tension, and is incredibly easy to use.

If you've ever wondered if two shocks that look the same, move the same and feel the same really perform the same, then this is the tool for you. In addition to all of the features of the Motor Spring Dyno above, the Precision Spring Dyno will also measure shock springs, and will fit most 1/10th scale shocks from both on- and off-road vehicles.

Also new from Integy is this sturdy, precision setup/tweak board. It is made from a durable alloy material, and features a laser alignment tool for precise suspension adjustments.

Also on display at the Integy booth was this 1/12th scale ready-to-run electric tank kit, manufactured in Japan by the Eagle Model Company. The cost? A lofty US$2,500. Still, can it get much more fun than a RTR Tank?

KHB Racing

KHB Racing has developed a rear plate that adapts many common nitro engines to allow the Traxxas EZ-start mechanism to bolt right on with no further modification. In the past, this type of modification has required a good amount of tooling, with the possibility for major damage. Now, thanks to KHB's ingenuity, it is as simple as replacing a few screws.

Team Losi

Just over a year after the car's initial release, Team Losi returns with an updated version of their flagship sedan, the XXX-S Graphite Plus edition. However, instead of just including graphite parts in the original kit, Losi has made significant changes to the car's design. The car now features a redesigned front end, thicker caster blocks, offset rear carriers, more durable aluminum CVDs, a softer, more pliable belt, and a newly milled chassis that is both lighter and stronger. Additionally, the car includes some of the more popular hop-ups, included aluminum threaded shocks, ball bearing steering, titanium turnbuckles, and of course graphite parts all around.

Here's a close-up shot of the new Alfa 156GTA body that's included with the XXX-S Graphite Plus edition.

Despite having the dominant car in the 4WD offroad class for years -- the XX4 -- Losi felt that there was still plenty of room for improvement, and set to work adapting its successful XXX-S design to accommodate an offroad suspension. The result is this XXX-4, which has already won numerous events in prototype form. Aside from the obvious suspension differences between the XXX-4 and the XXX-S, you'll also notice a larger, stronger belt and a slipper clutch built into the drive/spur assembly.

Megatech

So, you want to spend all your money on aluminum parts, but you hate monster trucks? Fear not, for Megatech has heard your cries. Here they present complete lines of anodized hop-ups for the HPI Nitro RS4 3, the Associated Nitro TC3 and the HPI Nitro RS4 2.

Here is a fully tricked-out Tamiya Terra Crusher using Megatech's aftermarket upgrades and add-ons.

So this is what you do when you have left-over aluminum...
